Proven project management

Collier Homes applies proven project management techniques and progressive applications to manage the entire building process. 'Kwikstream' is the name that Collier Homes use to represent this delivery discipline.

Kwikstream means that your home will be ready to begin construction sooner and will be built in the shortest possible time. It also ensures that you’re kept fully informed and involved throughout the entire building process.

1. Our Meeting

You meet one of our Home Building Consultants to discuss your needs and complete an Initial Client Brief.

This is where we establish all of the design and building features that are important to you, enabling us to progress to the design and costing development.

2. Design & Costing Development

You can select or customise one of our comprehensive specifications, or alternatively, create something entirely new.

This process is fully documented by your Home Building Consultant so that it can be factored in the development of a base design and cost.

3. Preparation of Plans Agreement

You will be presented with a Preparation of Plans Agreement for signing and will pay a deposit.

Our Licensed Surveyor then inspects the lot to confirm the boundaries and establish the location of essential services. At the same time, our Structural Engineer inspects the lot to test the soil and determine the footing design. Following these inspections, our Designer will then prepare your plans.

4. Building Contract

You will be presented with a Building Contract (which includes you plans and other associated documents) along with a colour pack in preparation for the colour selection process.

We will review each room and elevation with you to ensure that the plans meet all your requirements. The Building Contract is signed and the plans certified (you accept the plans).

At this stage, a finance pre-approval is required.

5. Administration & Selections

You will be allocated one of our Pre-Start Administrators for the entire administration stage to answer any of your queries, give you regular updates and guide you through the exciting process of colour selection.

You will also be given access to your personal Collier Cloud based network with your own login, so that you can stay across all the latest 24/7 from any device.


6. Applications & Approvals

Your Pre-Start Administrator will follow-up with statutory bodies to ensure that Shire, Water Corporation and Development Applications are approved efficiently.

When all the approvals are received, material and labour scheduling commences in preparation for construction.

7. Construction

When the construction phase begins, you will have direct access to your Building Supervisor and your Collier Cloud will be updated with progressive site photos and the construction program.

You will be able to track progress from the construction program which will also serve as a guide in terms of the construction activity sequencing.

8. Handover

Your Building Supervisor will meet with you on site to do a comprehensive inspection so that any items that may require rectification can be agreed and dealt with efficiently.

Handover will then occur and you will be presented with a Handover Pack containing all keys, applicable warranties and guarantees, and you Practical Completion Certificate and Maintenance Form.
